Welcome Back Peter Gammons!

Three months ago, the sports reporting world lost one of its greatest writers and analysts of all time.  Peter Gammons, chief reporter and analyst for ESPN’s Baseball Tonight suffered a brain aneurysm.  He was driving his car when it happened, and was airlifted to the hospital for emergency surgery.  Gammons remained hospitalized for about three weeks, to recover from the surgery and for observations.

Just three months later, Peter Gammons will report live from Fenway Park, during ESPN’s Sportscenter and Baseball Tonight.  He is not returning to his full-time job yet — ESPN says Gammons’ appearances will be scheduled as he is comfortable — but baseball’s best mind has made a remarkably quick recovery from a very serious ailment.
